Selection Criteria

A transparent, two part scoring system.

50% Kuhoo student score
50% Aatmanirbhar essay

Your Kuhoo student score considers your academic profile and the quality of your MBA institute. The essay is evaluated by Kuhoo's internal panel on clarity, authenticity, and ambition. All 57 scholarships are selected purely on merit.

FAQ's

Do i need to apply separately for the scholarship?

You need to do 2 things:
1. Complete your MBA loan application on the Kuhoo app.
2. Submit your Aatmanirbhar essay via the Form link on this page. Both steps must be completed for your application to be considered.

Is there a minimum loan amount to qualify?

No. Any MBA loan amount from Kuhoo qualifies you for the scholarship. There is no minimum threshold.

What if my loan application is rejected?

You remain eligible for the scholarship. Loan approval status does not affect your scholarship application.

Can I edit my essay after submitting through form?

No. Please ensure your essay is final before submitting the form. You cannot resubmit or edit after submission.

When will I receive the scholarship amount?

Scholarship amounts are paid directly to winners' bank accounts within 2 weeks of the results announcement.

How many words should each essay prompt be?

Each of the 3 prompts should be between 150 and 300 words. Total essay length: 450–900 words.

Who evaluates the essays?

A 3-member internal panel at Kuhoo evaluates all essays. There are no external panelists in Year 1.
